🚨 TAFRC BIG CLARIFICATION ON MBBS FEE!
Telangana Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (TAFRC) has issued an important clarification dated 14 August 2026 regarding the tuition fee structure for MBBS students admitted during the 2021–2023 block period in Private Minority & Non-Minority Medical Institutions.
In this video, we explain the complete TAFRC clarification and what MBBS students and parents need to know:
🔹 MBBS tuition fee is applicable only for 4½ academic years
🔹 The 4½-year course is divided into 9 semesters
🔹 Tuition fee should NOT be collected for the internship year
🔹 TAFRC has clarified how the prescribed fee should be collected in installments
🔹 If a college collected less fee during the first 4 years, the balance can be collected as per the prescribed total fee
🔹 Any excess tuition fee collected towards the 5th year has to be refunded to the concerned student
🔹 TAFRC has warned that appropriate action may be initiated against institutions that fail to comply with these directions.
📌 The clarification also provides examples of fee calculations for colleges with prescribed annual fees of ₹14.50 lakh, ₹14 lakh, ₹13.90 lakh, ₹13 lakh, ₹12.50 lakh and ₹11.55 lakh.
